Our History
WEBCO Manufacturing was founded in 1980 by Lloyd Wise, Don Essex, and Pete Badami. After more than a decade of steady growth, the company brought in new leadership. In 1991, Gary Rettman was named General Manager and continues to lead the organization today as President & CEO.
The new millennium marked a significant turning point for WEBCO. In 2002, Mike Johnson joined the team, bringing deep industry experience that helped fuel the company’s expansion. In 2005, WEBCO achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification, underscoring its commitment to consistent, world-class performance. That same year, the company completed its ESOP filing and financing to become 100% employee-owned.
In 2013, WEBCO opened a new, 200,000-square-foot, world-class manufacturing facility to support growing customer demand. Strategic expansion continued with the acquisition of ICF Industries, Inc. in 2021, the same year Ron Cole joined as Chief Financial Officer, rounding out the executive team and helping to shape the company’s long-term growth strategy. That momentum continued into 2024 with the acquisition of BMF Metal Fabrication.
Today, WEBCO Group Holdings serves as the parent company of WEBCO Manufacturing, ICF Industries, and BMF Metal Fabrication — overseeing more than 368,000 square feet of production space and continuing our legacy as a trusted partner for complex, custom metal fabrication projects.
